Thanks Jim. It is kinda weird to sit down and tell your life story in a one hour interview. Not my idea but part of the Kansas Historical Society’s records if someone someday actually wants to listen to it.
Charlie was a neighbor and classmate going back to Milburn Jr. High. His father was a physician for TWA. I remember Charlie being able to fly on passes to many places around the world. He must have been one of those original Intel guys. I have known a few of them. They all seem to have lots on money. I would say Charlie had a full life.

Hi David
If you get home let me know. We just won the wildlife habitat improvement award in Kansas. Love to show you what we did. Focus on Prairie Chickens.

First shot set for Wednesday here in Leavenworth, America. Visit www.cattletracs.com for some comic relief from Covid. It is how I have spent much of the lockdown. If you click on the News and Blogs tab you can see how this technology works on Grizzly Bears. Pretty Cool.
She was just here. In our living room not long ago. How this happens is hard to understand. Such a kind and good person.
we miss her.

Some may remember Donn and Donna Holmes sang folk songs together at a coffee house near the KU Med Center called the "Twelve Plus One". Donn played guitar and Donna sang mostly. They were pretty good judging by the crowds.
Donn was a friend. The was a Phi Psi at KU and graduated with a degree in education. After graduation, he purchased the Radio Shack store in Lawrence. He later sold it to open a classical records store in Crown Center. When that failed, he went into the family business, Stevens Envelope Co., located at 20th & Mc Gee in Kansas City, MO. When the family sold the company, he moved to Florida and opened a Firestone Tire store. He sold that business and moved to Tennessee to be closer to his wife, Shannon's parents. I remember playing poker at his house on Friday nights with his parents and the local priest. Good people.
