I started work in 1968 with then Southwestern Bell. Early on, one reward for climbing 55' poles in hooks was, after getting up there, you worked your way down. boring holes with a hand brace and bit. Then I got to pound about 50 steps into the pole after mounting a terminal on that pole. It was tough money. $87.50 a week, hard labor, while min wage was $62.50 or so for the same 40 hour week.!

We went through grade school together but i had you remembered as Rusty(?)
