Linda Mayer (Koroscil)

Linda Mayer Korosci 62, left this earth and was embraced by Our Lord on August 2, 2010. She leaves behind her loving husband, Doug, her two daughters, Elizabeth Garza (Richard) and Jessica Mayer, and her two beautiful granddaughters, Abigail Elizabeth and Emma Grace. She was born on March 9, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. She moved her family to Scottsdale in 1987. Linda earned her degree in Respiratory Therapy in 1994 and was currently Director of Respiratory at Springdale West in Mesa. Linda enjoyed her work and touched the lives of countless patients and co-workers. She cherished her family more than anything. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Linda knew that her daughters and granddaughters meant the world to her. She always had a story and a picture to share. Her contagious laugh and bright smile will be forever remembered and sorely missed. Linda was taken from the earth too soon, but leaves behind a wonderful legacy of strength and love that lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. Services will be held on Thursday August 12 at 3 PM at Central Christian Church, 933 North Lindsay Road, Mesa, AZ 85213. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in her honor to the Arizona Humane Society (www.azhumane.org).

Linda, Cheryl Pebley and I were good friends our senior year in high school.  I remember her pretty blue eyes and fun laugh.  Sorry didn;t see her after graduation and lost track of her.  Just remember her sunny personality, always smiling.
