Carole got a law degree from George Washington University School of Law after graduating from Northwestern University. She died in 1979 of a brain tumor; it's possible it metasticized from melanoma, as Karen says above. She was a good friend of mine in high school; a mutual close friend who also was at Northwestern with Carole called me to report her death at the time it occurred, and she said she died of a fast-developing brain tumor.

Thanks for the update Suzanne. In talking with Dorcas, Carol Kuebler's mother and Diane, Carol Kuebler's  younger sister both reported she had died of a fast growing melanoma I believe at about age 30.

Long before Jamie Lee Curtis, Carole was the first "scream queen".  She appeared in "The Mouse Trap" our sophomore year and Billey Coplin our Drama Instructor had her walk the halls and give out a blood curdling scream to "promote" the Play.  She was such a good sport, brilliant student, wonderful actress beautiful young lady.  Will miss her and all the others gone but not forgotten at the 50th.  sbm
