Services for John Taylor Teague, 21, of 6426 The Paseo, who was killed Wednesday night,  July 30, 1969 in a parachute accident at 135th street and State Line will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday, August 2, 1969 at the Newcomer Chapel, Brush Creek and the Paseo; burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call after 10 o'clock today at the chapel.

Mr. Teague was born in Albuquerque and lived here 12 years.  He was an engineering student at the University of Missoui-Columbia and was a summer employee of the Armco Steel Company.

He was a member of Cherokee Christian Church and the Campus Crusade for Christ:  Mr. Teague was a mamber of three fraternities, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Phi Mu Epsilon, mathematics honorary and Chi Epsilon engineering honorary.  He attended Shawnee Mission West High School.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Teague of the home, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph O. Taylor, Sr. Ft. Lauderdale. Fla.

John & I were pretty good friends in high school but lost touch after.  I never knew this was how he passed, sad.
