Stephen Niemeyer, 23  of 8105 W. 85th Terrace, Overland Park, Kansas died yesterday at the University of Kansas Medical Center after a short illness. An autopsy will be performed. He was born in Independence, Missouri and had lived in Overland Park, Kansas nine years. He was a senior at Kansas State University in Manhatten, Kansas.  He worked for the United States Forestry Service during summer vacations. He was a member of Saint Michael and all Angels Episcopal Church in Overland Park; Mr. Niemeyer was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Deborah Niemeyer, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Niemeyer Junior,  and a brother Michael J. Niemeyer, all of the home. Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Overland Park; burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Garden of the Apostles, 187, Section C, Phase 3. Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM Monday at the Hoge Chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the University of Kansas Endowment Association.
